Great beach access, indoor and outdoor pools, clean rooms, and friendly staff.

the location is great and the balcony view is really nice.
the beds were hard and made noise. also, communication with some staff was difficult, which made things awkward.

We chose Shutters On The Banks for its proximity to Kill Devil Hill, but were pleasantly surprised by the free WiFi throughout, and enjoyed the hotel's beachfront location with complimentary continental breakfast and wireless internet. The Outer Banks offers everything from fine dining to casual treats, making our stay convenient and enjoyable.
Unreasonable upgrade pricing disappointed us.

we had a great experience at Shutters On the Banks in the Outer Banks. the staff was incredibly helpful and kind, always welcoming us with a smile and pleasant conversation. the room was clean and comfortable with an exceptional view of the beach. the breakfast had many choices to suit most everyone’s taste and dietary requirements, and the location was perfect for exploring the area, with access to shopping, fantastic restaurants, and movie theaters.
